A local nonprofit, fed hundreds of individuals during the Christmas Holiday. The Neighborhoods United Program sponsored the meal and the Chaplain’s Fellowship Ministries delivered the meal. The Chaplain’s Fellowship is a nonprofit in Temple, Texas. The nonprofit assists individuals who were hurting because of disaster. The Chaplain’s Fellowship also assists communities nationwide.

The Christmas meals are becoming a tradition. 2016 is the second time the Chaplain’s Fellowship has served meals in Temple. The Fellowship plans to serve meals again in 2017. Feeding those in need is only part of yesterday’s event. The Chaplain’s Fellowship Ministries brought the community together for a day of food and conversation.

Approximately 50 people volunteered to provide the meals to those in need. This event was a terrific way to bring various members of the community together during the holiday weekend.
